Char Dham Yatra (9 nights 10 days)

Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar/Rishikesh

  • Begin your journey by arriving in Haridwar or Rishikesh, two important cities in Uttarakhand known for their spiritual significance.
  • Spend the day exploring the ghats along the Ganges River and attending the evening Ganga Aarti, a mesmerising ritual.

Day 2: Haridwar/Rishikesh to Yamunotri

  • Travel from Haridwar/Rishikesh to Yamunotri, the first destination of the Char Dham Yatra.
  • Reach Barkot/Syanachatti by road, and then trek or take a pony ride to Yamunotri Temple.
  • Visit the temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and take a dip in the Yamuna River, which is believed to cleanse sins.

Day 3: Yamunotri to Gangotri

  • Depart from Yamunotri and head towards Gangotri, the second stop on your pilgrimage.
  • Reach Harsil by road, and then visit the Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga.
  • Take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River and explore nearby attractions.

Day 4: Gangotri to Kedarnath

  • Travel from Gangotri to Kedarnath, which involves a combination of road travel and trekking.
  • Reach Gaurikund by road and then trek or take a pony ride to Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • Spend time at the temple and attend the evening aarti.

Day 5: Kedarnath to Badrinath

  • Depart from Kedarnath and head towards Badrinath, the final destination of your pilgrimage.
  • Reach Joshimath by road, and then visit Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
  • Take part in the evening aarti and explore the surrounding area.

Day 6: Badrinath

  • Spend an additional day in Badrinath to explore the temple complex and its surroundings.
  • Visit Mana Village, the last village before the Indo-China border, and other nearby attractions.

Day 7: Badrinath to Rishikesh

  • Travel back from Badrinath to Rishikesh/Haridwar.
  • Relax and unwind in the peaceful surroundings of Rishikesh or Haridwar.

Day 8-9: Rishikesh/Haridwar

  • Utilise these days for relaxation, spiritual practices, and exploring more of Rishikesh or Haridwar.
  • Participate in yoga and meditation sessions, visit ashrams, or indulge in adventure activities like river rafting (in Rishikesh.

Day 10: Departure

  • Bid farewell to Rishikesh/Haridwar and depart for your onward journey

Hemkund Sahib (5 days 4 nights)

Day 1: Arrival in Govindghat

  • Arrive in Govindghat, the base point for the trek to Hemkund Sahib.
  • Rest and acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 2: Govindghat to Ghangaria

  • Start the trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria, a moderate trek of around 9 km.
  • Overnight stay in Ghangaria.

Day 3: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib

  • Trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib, which is about 6 km and involves a steep ascent.
  • Spend time at Hemkund Sahib, a sacred Sikh shrine located at an altitude of 4,329 meters.
  • Return to Ghangaria for overnight stay.

Day 4: Ghangaria to Govindghat

  • Descend back from Ghangaria to Govindghat.
  • Rest and relax in Govindghat or explore nearby attractions.

Day 5: Departure

  • Depart from Govindghat and continue your journey onwards.

Vaishnodevi (4 days 3 nights)

Day 1: Arrival in Katra

  • Arrive in Katra, the base camp for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.
  • Check into your hotel and rest.

Day 2: Trek to Vaishno Devi Shrine

  • Begin the trek from Katra to the Vaishno Devi Shrine, which is approximately 13 km one way.
  • The trek can take around 5-6 hours, depending on your pace and breaks.
  • Seek blessings at the shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi.
  • Return to Katra for overnight stay.

Day 3: Explore Katra

  • Spend the day exploring Katra, visiting local markets, and enjoying the cuisine.
  • You can also visit nearby attractions such as Bhairon Temple or Baba Dhansar.
  • Return to Ghangaria for overnight stay.

Day 4: Departure

  • - Depart from Katra and continue your journey onwards.
